Why is the Cascadian Subduction Zone not included in the seismic analysis?
The impacts as far as earthquake go are not that significant for the CSZ EQ in the planning area as those that we selected to model. We focused on EQ’s that could have the greatest impacts to the planning area.
In areas that could be impacted by Tsunami, how are risks to “seasonal” populations addressed? For example, when beaches are full of non-County residents during the summer.
There really is no way to do this. Our demographic data comes from US Census, and they do not report on seasonal populations.
